I have had great fun composing this score to Xaymaca Awoyungbo’s new documentary which is having selected showings in London next month before going to various festivals around the globe.
The new documentary provides hope for the future of our communities through an unlikely source: postbox toppers (knitted or crocheted decorations placed on top of pillar boxes). The film explores the talented yarnbombing communities responsible for the toppers to uncover the motivations and challenges associated with their selfless acts of whimsy.
